Nautical tourism, attractions

  • Cruising tourism

Cruise Critic, the largest online platform for cruise reviews and discussion of cruise tourists, awarded the five best-rated cruise destinations this year as well.

“The port of Kotor has the privilege of continuing to hold the flattering title of one of the five awardees along with Dubrovnik, Rhodes, Mykonos and Venice,” reads the statement published on the company’s website.

Based on the reviews of cruising tourists, the attraction that Kotor has will not leave indifferent anyone who has the opportunity to sail into one of the most beautiful bays in the world and get to know the culture and traditions of our town.

“The quality of service provided by the Port of Kotor supports the beauty of the destination offered by Kotor and Montenegro and has represented the elite of the cruise industry for many years,” reads the announcement.

  • Yachting tourism

Kotor Marina can be considered the originator of what is meant today by yachting tourism in Montenegro. In the very beginnings, when first the smaller and then the mega yachts started visiting Montenegro, the inevitable and perhaps the only destination for them was Kotor Marina in the Port of Kotor. Apart from the fact that it is located at the end of one of the 30 most beautiful bays in the world and in front of the walls of the Old Town of Kotor, it was the only one with the capacity to provide safe mooring and some of the basic services to yacht users. Over time, we followed trends and improved our services and infrastructure. Today Kotor Marina has 153 berths (see the Marina page for more information).
