In addition to the ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality standards adopted, the Port of Kotor has the NATO Commercial and Government Entity Code certificate obtained from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Montenegro.

The Port of Kotor is a signatory to the Global Code of Ethics related to tourism and corporate social responsibility in 2014, and in 2015 it was recognized for exceptional quality in the provision of services, in the form of an ISAQ certificate.

Quality objectives
In the Port of Kotor, quality objectives are based on the organization’s Quality Policy. Quality objectives are defined to specify relevant functions, levels and processes in the Port of Kotor. Top management has established quality objectives at the strategic, tactical or operational level.
The strategic level includes the highest levels of the organization, and the quality objectives are applied to the entire organization.
Tactical and operational levels include quality objectives for specific units or functions within the organization and are compatible with its strategic direction. When formulating quality objectives, indicators/measurable representations of the status of quality objectives/performance indicators are also defined, which allow the Port of Kotor to identify, monitor and predict measurable objectives through trends and take corrective improvement measures when necessary.
